Fried Halloumi

A simple yet flavorful Mediterranean appetizer, this Fried Halloumi recipe features crispy, golden cubes of salty halloumi cheese dusted in a fragrant blend of oregano, cinnamon, and black pepper.   • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 8 oz halloumi cheese (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup Quick and Luscious Tomato Sauce
  1. Place flour in a shallow dish. In a medium bowl, stir together oregano, cinnamon, and pepper. Dredge cheese cubes in flour, shaking off excess.
